Overview

PMN330 is a monoclonal antibody (mAb) developed by ProMIS Neurosciences for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is specifically designed to target toxic amyloid beta oligomers (AβO), which are considered a primary driver of neurotoxicity in Alzheimer's pathology. Unlike some other amyloid-targeting therapies that bind to monomers or plaques, PMN330 selectively targets the soluble oligomeric form. The drug was identified as a lead development candidate based on its selective target product profile in both in vitro and in vivo tests. Originally developed as a murine antibody, it requires humanization for clinical therapeutic use.
