Overview

PMN350 is a preclinical monoclonal antibody being developed by ProMIS Neurosciences for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. It was selected using ProMIS’s computational discovery platform to recognize a specific disease-specific epitope on toxic, prion-like soluble amyloid beta oligomers, distinct from the epitope targeted by the company’s related antibody PMN310.[1][3][7][8] In cellular and mouse models, PMN350 selectively binds and neutralizes these oligomers, preventing their propagation, neurotoxicity, and associated cognitive deficits in object recognition tests, while sparing non-pathogenic amyloid beta forms.[1] This selectivity is intended to offer a precision-medicine approach that maximizes synaptic protection and reduces inflammation biomarkers without the safety liabilities associated with broader amyloid beta–directed antibodies.[1][7][8]
