Overview

PMS-004 is an innovative peptide therapeutic developed by Primary Peptides Inc. and licensed to Qingdao Primedicine Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. It acts as a JNK kinase inhibitor and is being developed for the treatment of myocardial infarction. Qingdao Primedicine Pharmaceutical holds exclusive rights for development and commercialization in Greater China (mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), while Primary Peptides retains rights in all other markets. Preclinical pharmacodynamic evaluations in animal models have shown protective effects on myocardial cells, and preclinical research was slated to officially launch in the second half of 2020.
