PMSC-11 is a personalized mesenchymal stem cell therapy developed by Immorta Bio for the treatment of liver failure. The product consists of "younger" mesenchymal stem cells generated to possess a significantly younger biological age than the patient, with the aim of rejuvenating damaged or aged organs. Preclinical studies in animal models have shown that PMSC-11 preserves essential liver functions such as albumin production and prevents rises in liver enzymes typically associated with liver damage. Additionally, administration of PMSC-11 induced an increase in a specific cytokine correlated with accelerated recovery from hepatic failure, suggesting both protective and regenerative effects on the liver. The therapy is being positioned as a first-in-class solution for patients with limited options beyond transplantation[1][3][8].
