PNB-101

PNB-101 is a small molecule drug developed by PNB Vesper Life Sciences that acts as a gastrin isoform-selective irreversible antagonist of the Cholecystokinin B (CCK-B) receptor, also known as the CCK2 or CCK3b receptor. Primarily targeted for the treatment of gastric cancer and small cell lung cancer, PNB-101 has demonstrated significant anti-cancer activity in preclinical models, including over 80% inhibition of tumor growth in human lung cancer xenograft studies. The drug is designed for oral administration and features a simple two-step synthetic scheme. Notably, PNB-101 exhibits a 700% increase in bioavailability compared to PNB-001, an earlier molecule in the developer's pipeline.
