Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PNQ-103 is a small molecule antagonist of the A2B adenosine receptor (A2BAR) developed by Impetis Biosciences. It is designed to block adenosine-mediated immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment, making it a potential treatment for immune-resistant cancers. Additionally, it is being explored for orphan indications such as sickle cell disease (SCD). PNQ-103-1 is a prodrug formulation of the compound. Impetis Biosciences has granted an exclusive license for the platform to Tarus Therapeutics. The program is currently at the IND-ready stage.
