PNQ-201 is a gut-restricted small molecule antagonist of the A2B adenosine receptor (A2BAR). Developed by Impetis Biosciences and licensed to Tarus Therapeutics, the compound is designed to target adenosine signaling specifically within the gastrointestinal tract. By blocking A2B receptors, PNQ-201 aims to modulate the tumor microenvironment in colorectal cancer and reduce inflammation in ulcerative colitis.
