Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PNV-021 is a personalized neoantigen peptide vaccine developed to treat melanoma that is refractory to PD-1 inhibitors. This vaccine is designed to induce tumor-specific T-cell responses by presenting up to 20 predicted HLA class I/II binding neoantigen peptides to the immune system. In a phase I study, PNV-021 was administered alongside Poly-ICLC and nivolumab, demonstrating strong immune activation, increased immune-cell infiltration within tumors, and the expansion of neoantigen-reactive T cells in peripheral blood.
