Drug intelligence / Profile preview
POC101 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), developed by Changchun Changcheng Pharmaceutical Technology. As an immune checkpoint inhibitor, it is designed to treat advanced solid tumors by binding to PD-L1 on tumor cells and antigen-presenting cells, thereby preventing its interaction with the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells. This blockade disrupts the inhibitory signaling that tumors use to evade immune detection, effectively reactivating the patient's T-cell-mediated anti-tumor response. POC101 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced malignancies who have failed standard treatments.
