**Polimilex** is a trivalent, whole-virus inactivated poliomyelitis vaccine marketed by Nanolek for active immunization to prevent poliomyelitis in children from 2 months of age and in adults. It contains poliovirus types 1, 2, and 3 cultured in Vero cells, purified, and inactivated with formaldehyde. Vaccination induces anti-poliovirus antibodies and immunological memory.
