Pollinex Quattro Grass

Pollinex Quattro Grass is an ultra-short course, subcutaneous allergy immunotherapy vaccine developed for the treatment of grass pollen allergy, including seasonal allergic rhinitis and seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. The formulation consists of chemically modified (glutaraldehyde-treated) grass pollen allergens adsorbed onto a L-tyrosine depot and combined with the novel adjuvant monophosphoryl lipid A (MPL). This combination aims to enhance efficacy by promoting T helper cell activity while maintaining a favorable safety profile. The MPL adjuvant acts as a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist, boosting immune response and desensitization to allergens. The regimen requires only four preseasonal injections, offering improved patient compliance compared to traditional immunotherapies.
