Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Polvac Grass + Rye is an investigational combination allergen extract vaccine composed of standardized grass pollen and rye pollen extracts. It is designed for allergen-specific immunotherapy, aiming to induce immune tolerance and reduce allergic reactions—primarily targeting seasonal allergic rhinitis and/or allergic conjunctivitis. The allergen extracts are used in intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT), where they are injected into lymph nodes to stimulate an immune response that reduces sensitivity to grass and rye pollens. This formulation is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for its efficacy in treating pollen-induced allergic rhinitis[2][6][7][8].
