Overview
Pomegranate + ginkgo biloba is an investigational topical anti-aging cream formulation developed by Ahmed A. H. Abdellatif. The product is a vanishing cream (O/W or W/O emulsion) containing extracts of *Punica granatum* (pomegranate) and *Ginkgo biloba* as its primary active ingredients. It is designed to treat skin aging by reducing the depth of deep furrows and wrinkles, such as crow's feet. The formulation is prepared by reacting stearic acid with an alkali to form a soap base before incorporating the botanical extracts. It has been evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT03772418) to assess its efficacy in improving skin quality over a three-month period.
