ponicidin

Ponicidin is a diterpenoid compound isolated from the plant Rabdosia rubescens (often known as Dong Ling Cao). It has demonstrated **antitumor, anti-inflammatory, and immunoregulatory** activities in preclinical studies. Mechanistically, ponicidin is proposed to induce apoptosis in cancer cells through mitochondrial pathways, inhibit inflammatory cytokine production, and modulate immune responses.
