Overview
Posex Forte is a proprietary Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulation developed by Charak to manage various bleeding disorders. It acts as a natural haemostyptic (hemostatic) agent, helping to arrest bleeding safely and effectively. The formulation contains a blend of traditional herbo-mineral preparations (bhasmas) and herbal extracts, including Phitsari Shuddha (purified alum), Chandrakala Ras, Kukkutandtwak Bhasma, Lodhra, and Amalaki, which possess astringent and vasoconstrictive properties. Posex Forte is indicated for the management of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, postpartum bleeding, bleeding associated with intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) insertion, epistaxis (nosebleeds), hematuria, and bleeding hemorrhoids.
