Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PostbiotiX Slowing is a postbiotic food supplement developed by Postbiotica to address intestinal disorders, specifically those involving irregular transit and diarrhea. It utilizes the proprietary PBTech® fermentation technology to produce its primary active ingredient, fermented fructooligosaccharides (FOS) derived from *Lactobacillus paracasei* CNCM I-5220. This postbiotic component is designed to rebalance the intestinal microbiota and restore mucosal barrier function. The formulation is enhanced with mallow (*Malva sylvestris*), which aids in regulating stool volume and consistency, and chamomile (*Matricaria chamomilla*), which supports gastrointestinal motility and gas elimination. It is intended for oral administration and is suitable for both adults and children over 3 years of age.
