Poulvac IB QX is a live attenuated vaccine used in poultry, specifically chickens, for the active immunisation to reduce respiratory signs of Infectious Bronchitis caused by QX-like variants of the Infectious Bronchitis virus (IBV). The vaccine contains live attenuated Avian Infectious Bronchitis Virus, strain L1148. Immunity develops within 3 weeks after vaccination and lasts approximately 63 days. It is administered via spray or oculonasal routes and is suitable for use in broilers as well as future laying or breeding hens. The product is developed and manufactured by Zoetis[1][2][3][4][5].
