Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Powerfit is a natural dietary supplement formulated as oral capsules containing standardized Shiitake mushroom (*Lentinula edodes*) extract (175 mg per capsule, equivalent to 1750 mg of Shiitake mushroom powder). Developed by Holistica (France) and manufactured/distributed under license by Arian Salamat Sina in Iran, Powerfit is rich in active hexose correlated compound (AHCC), beta-glucans (such as lentinan), essential amino acids, vitamins (particularly B-complex and vitamin D), and minerals. The supplement acts as an immunomodulator, primarily by binding to and activating C-type lectin receptors (such as Dectin-1/CLEC7A) and Toll-like receptors (such as TLR4) on immune cells, which stimulates macrophages, T lymphocytes, and natural killer (NK) cells. Powerfit is widely used to strengthen the immune system, reduce physical fatigue, and serve as an adjuvant therapy to support the clearance of human papillomavirus (HPV) in patients with genital warts.
