It is primarily developed to treat tardive dyskinesia (TD), a chronic movement disorder caused by long-term antipsychotic use, and is also being explored for chorea associated with Huntington's disease. POZ-VMAT2i aims to address adherence and access challenges for patients who struggle with daily oral medications, including those in institutional settings or with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
