PP110

PP110 is a Peritech Pharma topical fixed-dose anti-hemorrhoidal product formulated as a gel and medicated wipes. It combines pramoxine 1% for local anesthetic and antipruritic activity with phenylephrine 0.25% for alpha-1 adrenergic vasoconstrictor activity, delivered in a volatile film-forming formulation intended to leave a protective film and prolong contact of the active ingredients with anorectal tissue. PP110 was evaluated once daily in a randomized open-label Phase 2/3 study for grade 2-3 bleeding hemorrhoids, in which the gel outperformed Preparation-H Maximum Strength Cream for reductions in bleeding, pain, and itching.
