PPI-100

PPI-100 is a small-molecule, multi-Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonist developed by Pattern Pharma as an "off-the-shelf" immunotherapeutic. It is designed to activate innate immune cells, specifically dendritic cells and macrophages, by agonizing TLR1, TLR2, TLR4, and TLR6, with a predominant effect on TLR4. The drug's primary clinical focus is the perioperative setting for cancer patients undergoing surgical resection; it aims to reprogram the systemic immune response from an immunosuppressive state to an immunoactive one, thereby eradicating residual disease and preventing postoperative relapse or metastasis. Beyond oncology, PPI-100 is being developed for applications in infectious diseases and as a vaccine carrier or adjuvant.
