PPMX-T002 is a preclinical-stage radioisotope-labeled monoclonal antibody developed by Perseus Proteomics (PPMX) under its SENOLYTIX platform. The therapeutic candidate is designed to target Cadherin-3 (CDH3), also known as P-cadherin, a cell surface protein that is highly expressed in several solid malignancies, including ovarian cancer, biliary tract cancer, and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), while maintaining low expression in normal tissues. By conjugating a therapeutic radionuclide to a CDH3-specific antibody, PPMX-T002 facilitates the targeted delivery of ionizing radiation directly to the tumor site. This mechanism of action aims to induce lethal DNA damage and apoptosis in cancer cells, providing a potent cytotoxic effect while minimizing off-target systemic toxicity.
