Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PPMX-T003 is a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1), developed by Perseus Proteomics. It is designed to inhibit iron uptake by cells that highly express TfR1, such as erythroblasts and certain cancer cell lines. The drug acts through antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity and direct antagonism of TfR1, leading to suppression of erythrocyte differentiation and inhibition of cancer cell growth. Its primary indications include polycythemia vera and aggressive NK-cell leukemia[2][3][9].
