Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PPMX-T004 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Perseus Proteomics that targets cadherin-3 (CDH3), also known as P-cadherin. CDH3 is a cell surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various solid tumors, including ovarian cancer, biliary tract cancer, and squamous cell carcinomas, while having limited expression in normal tissues. The drug consists of a CDH3-specific antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. Upon binding to CDH3 on the tumor cell surface, the ADC is internalized, and the payload is released to induce cell death. Perseus Proteomics has licensed the clinical development of PPMX-T004 to Fujifilm Group.
