Overview

PPN1020 is a preclinical-stage candidate being developed by CereMark Pharma for the potential diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. While specific details regarding its molecular target and chemical structure are limited in public disclosures, CereMark Pharma primarily focuses on the development of positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agents (radiopharmaceuticals) designed to detect and quantify protein aggregates, such as tau, amyloid-beta, or alpha-synuclein, in the brain. PPN1020 is part of a pipeline of next-generation tracers that follows the company's lead candidate, PPN1010, which is being investigated for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) and Alzheimer's disease. As a diagnostic tool, PPN1020 is intended to support the early detection and monitoring of neurodegeneration.
