Overview

PQ203 is a novel peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) developed by ProteinQure for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). It consists of a sortilin receptor-targeting peptide conjugated to the cytotoxic agent monomethyl auristatin E. The sortilin receptor (SORT1) is overexpressed in many solid tumors, including TNBC, and represents an innovative target for this aggressive cancer subtype. PQ203 has demonstrated potent efficacy in preclinical models, particularly those resistant to current standards such as sacituzumab govitecan (Trodelvy), and exhibits a favorable safety profile. The drug is designed using ProteinQure’s proprietary AI-driven platform that enables precision targeting and delivery of cytotoxic payloads to tumor cells[1][3][4][6].
