Overview

PRA-216 is an investigational biologic agent developed by Prana Therapies for the treatment of asthma. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2a clinical trial (NCT07245368) assessing safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in healthy volunteers and participants with mild-to-moderate asthma. The trial includes single ascending dose (SAD) and multiple ascending dose (MAD) cohorts administered via intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) routes, with Phase 2a focusing on efficacy endpoints such as fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO), a biomarker of airway inflammation.[1][3][9]
