PRAME A*02:01 TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Anocca for the treatment of PRAME-positive malignancies, including melanoma, leukemia, and various solid tumors. The therapy consists of patient-derived T cells that have been genetically modified to express a specific T-cell receptor (TCR) designed to recognize a peptide derived from the Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma (PRAME) when presented by the HLA-A*02:01 major histocompatibility complex. PRAME is a cancer-testis antigen that is frequently overexpressed in a wide range of cancers but maintains limited expression in healthy tissues, making it an ideal target for immunotherapy. Upon re-infusion into the patient, these engineered T cells are intended to selectively identify and eliminate tumor cells expressing the PRAME-HLA-A*02:01 complex. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
