PRAME Other HLA TCR-T is an autologous T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Anocca. It is designed to target the Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma (PRAME), a cancer-testis antigen that is highly expressed in a wide range of cancers but has limited expression in normal tissues. This specific program focuses on TCRs that recognize PRAME peptides presented on Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) alleles other than the common HLA-A*02:01, aiming to provide therapeutic options for a broader patient population. The therapy utilizes Anocca's proprietary platform to identify and validate high-precision TCRs for clinical use in treating melanoma, leukemia, and various solid tumors. The process involves genetically engineering a patient's own T cells to express these specific TCRs, which then recognize and eliminate PRAME-expressing tumor cells upon re-infusion.
