PRD-101

PRD-101 is a next-generation nanoparticle anticancer drug candidate being developed by PharmaResearch Co., Ltd., a South Korean biopharmaceutical company. The drug is formulated using nucleotide fragments produced through PharmaResearch's proprietary DNA Optimizing Technology (DOT®) and leverages the company's nucleotide-based Advanced DOT™ nanoparticle drug delivery platform. PRD-101 is designed to improve drug loading efficiency and pharmacokinetics while addressing the high toxicity limitations typically associated with traditional anticancer drugs. It is being developed for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. In February 2026, the U.S. FDA cleared the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for PRD-101, enabling the initiation of a Phase 1 clinical trial in the United States to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in patients with solid tumors.
