Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PRDM-14 is a preclinical therapeutic candidate developed by ARIZ Precision Medicine for the treatment of breast cancer. The drug targets the PR domain zinc finger protein 14 (PRDM14), an epigenetic regulator and transcription factor that is frequently overexpressed in breast cancer and is associated with the maintenance of cancer stemness, tumor progression, and resistance to therapy. PRDM-14 is formulated using ARIZ's proprietary Targeted Drug Delivery System (T-DDS), a nanotechnology platform designed to deliver therapeutic payloads (such as siRNA or antisense oligonucleotides) specifically to tumor cells while minimizing off-target effects. The program is currently in the proof-of-principle stage, with plans to transition into animal model studies to demonstrate proof-of-concept.
