ARIZ Precision Medicine is developing PRDM1-T-DDS, a nanotechnology-based targeted drug delivery system (T-DDS) designed to target PRDM1 (PR domain zinc finger protein 1). PRDM1, also known as BLIMP-1, is a transcriptional repressor that plays a vital role in the differentiation of B cells into plasma cells and is implicated in the progression of several malignancies, including colon cancer, multiple myeloma, and various lymphomas. The T-DDS platform aims to enhance the precision of therapy by delivering payloads directly to cells expressing the PRDM1 target, thereby reducing systemic toxicity. Currently in preclinical development, the program has achieved in vitro proof-of-principle (POP) in colon cancer and myeloma models, while the lymphoma indication is in the target identification phase.
