Precisor E8

Precisor E8 is a precision onco-formulation developed by Swalife Biotech, currently in the preclinical stage for oral health and mucosal chemoprevention. The drug is designed to target Epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 8 (EPS8), a scaffolding protein that plays a critical role in actin remodeling and cell signaling pathways, including the EGFR and Src pathways. Overexpression of EPS8 is linked to increased cell proliferation, migration, and the progression of premalignant lesions to oral squamous cell carcinoma. By inhibiting EPS8, Precisor E8 aims to provide a chemopreventive strategy to maintain oral mucosal health and prevent malignant transformation.
