Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Predever is a combination therapy consisting of prednisone and everolimus, investigated for the treatment of newly diagnosed moderate or severe chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD). Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid that acts as an immunosuppressant and anti-inflammatory agent by binding to glucocorticoid receptors. Everolimus is an mTOR inhibitor, also possessing immunosuppressive properties by blocking the activity of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway. This combination aims to improve long-term treatment success in cGVHD patients.
