Overview

This is a combination of four active pharmaceutical ingredients: - **Prednisolone** is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties, used to treat various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions[8]. - **Thyroxine** (commonly as levothyroxine) is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone T4, used primarily for hypothyroidism and as adjunct therapy in certain types of thyroid cancer[2][4]. - **Terlipressin** is a synthetic vasopressin analogue that acts as a vasopressin receptor agonist. It is mainly indicated for improving kidney function in hepatorenal syndrome and controlling bleeding from esophageal varices[7][10]. - **Insulin** is an essential peptide hormone regulating glucose metabolism, widely used in the management of diabetes mellitus. There are no known marketed products or standard clinical regimens combining all four agents into one formulation. Each drug has distinct mechanisms of action: - Prednisolone modulates gene expression via the glucocorticoid receptor. - Thyroxine acts on nuclear thyroid hormone receptors to regulate metabolism. - Terlipressin activates vasopressin V1 receptors causing vasoconstriction. - Insulin binds to insulin receptors promoting cellular glucose uptake. Such combinations may be encountered only in highly specialized clinical scenarios under close medical supervision due to potential drug interactions (notably between corticosteroids and thyroxine)[1][3], complex pharmacodynamics, and risk profiles.
