Overview
Prednisolone Streuli is an approved synthetic glucocorticoid medication developed and marketed by Streuli Pharma AG. The active ingredient, prednisolone, is a synthetic corticosteroid that functions as an agonist of the intracellular glucocorticoid receptor. Upon binding, the receptor-ligand complex translocates to the cell nucleus, where it interacts with specific DNA sequences to modulate gene expression. This action results in potent anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, antiallergic, and antiproliferative effects.
