Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pregawahl is a fixed-dose combination tablet marketed by Beste Wahl India, containing pregabalin, methylcobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, and pyridoxine hydrochloride. It is primarily indicated for the management of neuropathic pain, including diabetic neuropathy and peripheral neuropathy, as well as other neurological conditions such as neuralgia, Bell's palsy, and dementia. Within this combination, pregabalin acts as an alpha-2-delta ligand to reduce the release of excitatory neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin (an active form of vitamin B12) and pyridoxine (vitamin B6) serve as essential cofactors that support myelin sheath repair and nerve regeneration. Alpha lipoic acid acts as a potent antioxidant to protect nerve tissue from oxidative damage.
