Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Prelox is a proprietary dietary supplement developed by Horphag Research Ltd, specifically formulated to support male sexual health and address symptoms of erectile dysfunction. It is a combination product containing L-arginine aspartate, taurine, and Pycnogenol (a standardized extract from French maritime pine bark). The supplement's primary mechanism of action involves the enhancement of the nitric oxide (NO) pathway. Pycnogenol acts to stimulate the enzyme endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), which facilitates the conversion of L-arginine into nitric oxide. The resulting increase in nitric oxide levels promotes vasodilation and improves blood flow to the vascular system of the penis, thereby supporting erectile function. Prelox is available over-the-counter and has been the subject of several clinical studies demonstrating its efficacy in improving sexual function.
