Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PremierMaxCB-Platinum is an investigational biological therapeutic derived from human umbilical cord blood. It is part of the PREMIERMAXCB product line developed for localized treatments and regenerative medicine applications. Each vial contains 1 mL of a cellular and protein mixture with an average of 30 million nucleated cells. The product is manufactured under cGMP conditions in a clean room facility and tested for safety, quality, identity, purity, and potency. It has been evaluated in early research testing and is currently available for research use only. A Phase 1 clinical trial has been initiated to assess its safety and efficacy in treating lower back pain arising from the sacroiliac joint (SIJ). The mechanism of action involves delivering allogeneic stem cells that may contribute to tissue repair or modulation through paracrine effects or direct cell replacement.
