Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PreTarg-it is a proprietary pretargeted radioimmunotherapy (PRIT) platform developed by OncoOne Research & Development for the treatment of solid tumors. The technology utilizes a two-step approach to deliver therapeutic radioisotopes directly to tumor cells while minimizing systemic exposure. In the first step, a bispecific antibody (bsAb) is administered, which binds to a specific tumor-associated antigen—most notably the oxidized form of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor (oxMIF)—and provides a docking site for a radiolabeled payload. After the antibody has cleared from the circulation, a small-molecule radioligand is administered in the second step, which rapidly and specifically binds to the pre-localized antibody at the tumor site. This strategy is designed to overcome the limitations of conventional radioimmunotherapy, such as prolonged blood circulation of radiolabeled antibodies that can lead to dose-limiting bone marrow toxicity.
