Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Previderm Keratosis is a topical dermatological product developed by Ojer Pharma, a spin-off of the University of Navarra. It is formulated as a transparent bioadhesive lipogel using the company's proprietary Gel Technology Platform (GTP), which allows for the sustained release of active ingredients and forms a protective film on the skin. The product contains a combination of salicylic acid (2%) and urea (2%). Salicylic acid functions as a keratolytic agent to exfoliate and remove thickened skin, while urea acts as a humectant and softening agent to improve skin hydration and repair. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of hyperkeratosis and keratotic skin conditions, such as calluses, hardness, and rough skin caused by friction or dehydration. The product is currently marketed in Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
