Overview

PRF-110 is a viscous, clear oil-based solution containing ropivacaine that is instilled directly into surgical wounds before closure to provide localized and extended post-operative analgesia. The formulation is designed to slowly release ropivacaine for up to 72 hours, potentially reducing the need for systemic analgesics, especially opioids. It consists of ropivacaine as the active ingredient along with components classified as Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
