Overview

PRG Pro-Care Gel α is a bioactive dental gel developed by SHOFU, utilizing proprietary S-PRG (Surface Pre-Reacted Glass-ionomer filler) particles. This innovative Giomer technology enables the continuous release of six types of ions: fluoride, strontium, borate, aluminum, sodium, and silicate. These ions work synergistically to reduce dental plaque adhesion, neutralize acids, protect tooth enamel, and promote remineralization. The gel is indicated for dental prophylaxis, particularly during periods of tooth eruption, orthodontic treatment, or gum recession, and for patients at high risk of dental caries. It helps to suppress enamel demineralization and can alleviate dentinal hypersensitivity.
