Prilukae

Prilukae (NP-G2-044) is an investigational small-molecule oncology drug being developed as an oral inhibitor of fascin, an actin-bundling protein that promotes tumor cell motility, invasion, and metastasis. By targeting fascin in tumor cells, the drug is intended to disrupt actin cytoskeleton organization and reduce metastatic potential and tumor progression, and is being studied in combination with standard chemotherapies such as pegylated liposomal doxorubicin in solid tumors including platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.[9] Early-phase clinical development focuses on dose optimization, safety, and preliminary antitumor activity when added to established regimens in patients with advanced malignancies.[9]
