**PRIM-DJ2727** is an investigational, donor-derived fecal microbiota transplantation product developed by The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. It is manufactured as a lyophilized intestinal-microbiota powder, generally administered in oral enteric-coated capsules, using stool from healthy screened donors. Rather than acting through a single molecular target, PRIM-DJ2727 is intended to restore or remodel recipient gut microbial communities and associated intestinal metabolic and immune functions. It has been evaluated in clinical studies across recurrent *Clostridioides difficile* infection, Parkinson's disease, HIV infection, ulcerative colitis, systemic sclerosis-associated constipation or bloating, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease, and alcoholic hepatitis.
