Drug intelligence / Profile preview
PrimeFill is a permanent or semi-permanent injectable dermal filler developed by Dermax Medical. It is composed of 20% polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres (30-50 micrometers in diameter) suspended in an 80% cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) or sodium hyaluronate carrier gel. The product utilizes a dual-action mechanism: the hyaluronic acid carrier provides immediate volumization and lifting effects upon injection, which are gradually absorbed by the body over time. Meanwhile, the PMMA microspheres remain permanently in the tissue, acting as a scaffold that stimulates the body's natural collagen production (neocollagenesis) and becomes encapsulated in fibrous tissue. This process creates durable structural support and volume restoration that can last up to 5 years. PrimeFill is indicated for aesthetic corrections, including deep wrinkles, nasolabial folds, smile lines, acne scars, and facial volume restoration.
