Overview
PrimeFill is a permanent dermal filler composed of 20% polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres (30-50 microns in diameter) suspended in an 80% cross-linked hyaluronic acid carrier gel. Developed and distributed by Dermaxshop, it is indicated for long-term aesthetic correction, including the treatment of nasolabial folds, facial volume loss, and acne scars. The product utilizes a dual-action mechanism: the hyaluronic acid component provides immediate physical volumization upon injection, while the non-resorbable PMMA microspheres act as a permanent structural scaffold that stimulates endogenous collagen production (neocollagenesis) and tissue integration. This results in long-lasting structural support and volume that can persist for five years or more.
