**PRO-240** is an investigational fixed-dose ophthalmic lubricating solution developed by Laboratorios Sophia for dry eye disease and ocular-surface discomfort. The formulation contains propylene glycol 0.3%, polyethylene glycol 400 0.5%, and glycerin 0.2%; these demulcent and lubricant components are intended to protect and lubricate the ocular surface and support tear-film stability. It is being evaluated in a Phase 1 safety and tolerability study in ophthalmologically and clinically healthy adult volunteers versus Optive.
