Overview
Pro Beta Glukan is an oral over-the-counter dietary supplement and consumer health product developed and marketed by PharmaS for general immune support. The product is a combination nutraceutical centered on highly purified beta-(1,3/1,6)-D-glucan derived from the yeast *Saccharomyces cerevisiae* at a stated dose of 1275 mg, together with tindalized *Streptococcus thermophilus* HA-110 culture, vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc. Its proposed mechanism is immunomodulation: beta-glucan is intended to activate innate immune responses and enhance host defense, while the added micronutrients support normal immune function. It is sold as a powder sachet to be dissolved in water and is described as gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and free of artificial flavors and colors.
