Overview
PRO-MSH-001 is an investigational IgY (immunoglobulin Y) antibody therapeutic being developed by Prodigy Biotech for the treatment of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH). The drug is part of a platform designed to selectively target and neutralize specific microbes or microbial products within the gastrointestinal tract that are implicated in the progression of liver disease via the gut-liver axis. By modulating the gut microbiome's influence on hepatic health, PRO-MSH-001 aims to address the underlying drivers of inflammation and steatosis in MASH. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
